BREAKING NEWS: The Mobile County Board of School Commissioners has voted unanimously to hire Chresal Threadgill as superintendent. Pending contract approval, he will take the position on July 2.

Due to the cold temps expected overnight into the morning and ice remaining on roads, MCPSS will be closed Thursday. We will reopen Friday on regular schedule and uniform dress. Employees will not report to work on Thursday.

Mobile County Public Schools will be closed on Wednesday due to extreme weather conditions. After-school activities – with the exception of after-school care – are canceled for Tuesday. MCPSS employees will not report to work on Wednesday. (1/2)

Due to severe cold weather, we are offering students uniform flexibility Thursday & Friday. Students should dress appropriately for the weather, with the exception being any clothing that would be considered pj's. We look forward to welcoming back our students on Thursday.
