He’s sexualizing her as a form of degradation and punishment for her endorsement of Harris. It is retaliatory sexual harassment.

That video of when she was at an awards ceremony and they announced an honor for Roman Polanski and she stormed out in her gown, cursing in French. An icon.

Long ago I worked at a high pressure, psychologically manipulative org where one woman about my age got treated badly and abruptly quit. We all said, “She couldn’t hack it.” Now I regularly see her on Instagram eating fresh caught fish on a beach in what appears to be Greece.

My radical feminist opinion is that if men who are exclusively attracted to women are also incapable of viewing women as social equals deserving of rights and dignity, then they deserve the loneliness that will follow.

My dark woke opinion is that this stuff doesn’t matter and if you care enough to get offended you’re pathetic.

Every account of a serial killer’s life and personality is like, “He seemed very successful and normal. Unless of course you count his obvious and obsessive hatred for women, which we didn’t.”

Every time you ask a woman about pregnancy or childbirth she’ll go “Oh it wasn’t so bad, I was actually really lucky. All that happened was—“ and then tell the most terrifying story you’ve ever heard.

It’s definitely a product of Puritanism and not feminism but it’s still interesting that for the thousands of jobs Barbie has had, the one thing she never was was pregnant.

Tim Walz’ model of masculinity—one of wholesome, benevolent cheerfulness—offers a really stark contrast to the boorish domination of Trump and spine-chilling creepiness of Vance.

One thing I keep returning to with this case is that Gisele lived in a small town—about 6,000 people—and in that community a high enough proportion of the men were frequenting rapist sites that her husband was able to recruit about 90 men to attack her.

72 Men. All lived within a few miles of her home. One was her neighbor. Not one of them asked for confirmation of consent, despite her being unconscious, not even the man who’s HIV positive. Not one of them asked to talk to her. Not a single one. bbc.com/news/articles/…

Washing clothes by hand is a chore, oftentimes a lonely one. But it needn’t be. We could have communal washing facilities in each neighborhood where people can plan to come in groups to do their laundry together... 3/

Not having kids is a morally neutral and legitimate life choice on its own that does not need to be justified with recourse to tragic stories of fertility struggles. It’s fine just to not want children.

The idea that sexual abuse of women and children comes primarily from strangers helps to conceal the horror and betrayal of the reality that it actually comes primarily from loved ones.

I truly do not understand how angry and emotional people get when you tell them that their kids are not likely to be kidnapped from their safe neighborhood by strangers and sold for sex tourists. Can someone who is a parent explain this to me?
