I am sad to see Carlos stepping down as CEO of G2. I don’t agree with his recent actions, but he has done so much good for the esports scene that it hurts to see things go this way. The worst part is he will likely be replaced by yet another outsider who doesn’t get it

This pandemic made me unable to attend the birth of my son and now prevented me from visiting my grandmother while she was still able to hold a conversation. She died this morning, but at least was able to see her great-grandson even if she couldn’t hold him or speak to him.

Zero LCK casters will be present for the semis and finals of #Worlds2022 in spite of the fact that 3 out of the 4 remaining teams are Korean. Riot’s decisions around casters remain completely baffling and continue to rob their audience of the experts who know the teams the best.

I would like to announce that today is the last day of my @overwatchleague contract and I will not be returning next year. Although I had a great time helping to develop and launch the league in the first two seasons, I am leaving to pursue further career growth. (1/12)

Tencent asked Riot to make a mobile version of LoL in 2015. Riot refused. Tencent made Honor of Kings. HoK has made $10B revenue and is the highest grossing mobile game of all-time. HoK finals just broke the record for esports attendance. Generational fumble from Riot.
