🌙✨ When it comes to imagination, we don’t just reach for the stars—we engineer ways to live among them! 🚀 From managing Moon dust to constructing power systems to support Artemis astronauts, @NASA_Technology and U.S. companies are hard at work building a sustainable lunar
A tabletop demonstration of NASA’s Electrodynamic Dust Shield technology is displayed at an exhibit. The prototype consists of a clear enclosure connected to a control unit with cables and power controls. An informational sign beside the display shows before-and-after images demonstrating how the technology removes lunar dust from surfaces. The dust mitigation system is designed to help protect equipment, habitats, spacesuits, and other hardware from abrasive Moon dust during future Artemis missions and long-term lunar exploration.

Freedom ✅ Fair ✅ Fission-Powered Spacecraft ✅ Discover the future of deep space exploration! Come see @NASA at the Great American State Fair to learn more about our upcoming Space Reactor-1 Freedom mission — and to see what a nuclear-powered spacecraft could look like.
A scale model of a nuclear-powered spacecraft is displayed inside a clear protective case at NASA’s exhibit. The spacecraft features large blue-and-gold solar arrays, a central truss structure extending outward, and a compact reactor module at its core. A small astronaut figure beside the model provides a sense of scale. The display illustrates a concept for NASA’s Space Reactor-1 Freedom mission, which aims to use nuclear fission technology to enable future deep-space exploration.

🚀 From the National Mall to the Moon! 🌙 The Great American State Fair is a celebration of what powers America—people, ideas, and innovation 🇺🇸 and our team is there on the ground to showcase the @NASA_Technology needed to build @NASAMoonBase, humanity’s first neighborhood on
A NASA representative stands beside a tabletop PowerScape demonstration, explaining concepts to a small group of attendees. The PowerScape model features white scale models of lunar infrastructure—including habitats, a lander, and a rover—arranged on a gray terrain surface representing the Moon’s south polar region. Behind the display, a large graphic titled “Moon Base: Humanity’s First Outpost on the Lunar Surface” illustrates a future lunar settlement and exploration activities. Visitors listen as the presenter gestures toward the model during the discussion.

🎣 Did you know space technology can help you catch fish? Visit NASA’s pavilion at the Great American State Fair and explore the latest edition of Spinoff. Discover how one company is using @NASA_Technology data to forecast fish from space and guide anglers to the best spots to
A mahi-mahi leaps from the ocean while hooked on a trolling lure, sending water droplets into the air. The fish is suspended above rolling blue waves beneath a cloudy sky. NASA Spinoff company ROFFS uses Earth-observation satellite data and proprietary analysis to help anglers locate productive fishing areas where species such as mahi-mahi, marlin, tuna, swordfish, and wahoo are most likely to be found.
