Confidential Intents is now generally available. Any builder on the NEAR Intents 1Click Swap API can bring confidential cross-chain execution to their users. No privacy infrastructure to build or new SDK to learn. NEAR’s confidential execution layer is open to everyone ↓

Confidentiality is already what users choose. On near.com, confidential execution accounted for ~42% of volume within weeks of launch. Confidential balances now hold over $30M. When privacy is an option, users take it.

Turning it on is one change: pass the confidential parameter in your existing 1Click integration. The quote → deposit → swap flow stays identical. The confidentiality operates underneath. Read the full announcement + integrate:

An exchange can offer privacy from everyone except itself and that exception is its whole business model. My thoughts on the one thing a CEX structurally cannot ship, and what's being built instead.

Internet Court is live: the open skill where any two agents can structure a deal, hold funds in escrow, and settle disputes in natural language. NEAR gives agents wallet + transaction skills, cross-chain swaps via NEAR Intents, and verifiable private inference on NEAR AI Cloud.

Agents can negotiate, pay, and execute - but none of it holds together. Today we are introducing Internet Court, which is the open skill that connects the entire agentic commerce stack into one flow, so any two agents can run a deal end to end. → internetcourt.org

The thesis NEAR started building toward in 2017 is arriving. AI needs financial infrastructure built for agents, not just humans. NEAR has been building that stack for nearly a decade. 🧵

The important part is consistency. Each layer makes the next one more useful. Throughput enables abstraction. Abstraction enables Intents. Intents enable agents. Agents need privacy and reliable settlement.

2026 is where the line starts to converge: Confidential Intents, IronClaw, quantum-safe scaling, and NEAR AI are all becoming part of the same production system.

Hyperliquid runs the deepest perps liquidity in crypto. Now you can reach it from near.com. Bring any asset from 35+ chains, convert on deposit, trade 50+ markets up to 40x.  Trade where the liquidity is. No extra chains to manage. One account, no borders.

AI sovereignty wasn't a hot topic, but NEAR’s been building for it for years. Then export bans and government equity stakes changed the conversation fast. NEAR AI already runs a user-owned stack, and IronClaw secures the agent layer.  Sovereignty you can verify.

Quantum computing is a threat to every blockchain. A post-quantum signing scheme is already live on NEAR testnet. NEAR accounts are controlled by rotatable access keys, decoupled from any single keypair, so rotating to it is a transaction, not a migration 🧵

Signing schemes are the more straight-forward part. Wallets and hardware are where the ecosystem work is.   NEAR is already aligning post-quantum plans with software and hardware wallet builders, including @Ledger.

NEAR is leading post-quantum safety at the protocol level, where security has to start, beginning with the NIST-approved FIPS-204 signing scheme. We're excited to be working with NEAR to align hardware wallet security for the quantum era.

The entire crypto industry must prepare for quantum. NEAR is actively rolling out upgrades to secure the protocol, the wider Intents ecosystem that relies on it, and the agent economy that will soon run on it.  Full deep dive on NEAR's quantum readiness:

Quantum computing is a threat to every blockchain protocol. NEAR's architecture already makes accounts and assets more quantum-secure than most chains. The team is now adding post-quantum cryptography to secure NEAR and the wider Intents ecosystem. Here's what's underway 🧵
