    Need to get rid of “sharps”? Do it the right way! Place items in a leak-proof, puncture-resistant container such as a laundry detergent bottle, seal it up, label it, and place it in trash. Disposing of your needles and other sharp items correctly keeps Sanitation Workers

    Take a SEAT, litterbugs! We removed these car seats recently in the Bronx. Stop taking New York for a ride and get rid of your big, bulky items properly.

    Working on a summer clean out? Bring your unwanted e-waste and textiles to an upcoming Community Recycling Event to dispose of your stuff properly! Head to nyc.gov/recyclingevents for a list of events and to learn more.

    Trashy piles (unfortunately) don’t take a break - not even for the weekend. Good thing our cleaning teams don’t take a break, either. When we all care for our city, it can look beautiful. Don’t dump on our City!

    New York, there's no need to drop off your old TV like this! How about bringing it to our Special Waste Drop-Off Sites instead. Don’t dump. Head to nyc.gov/electronics to find your options to dispose of your e-waste PROPERLY.

    Put incorrect mattress disposal to BED!!!! You don't need to drag a mattress to the side of a road or highway! Wrap it and place it curbside, with the rest of your trash, on your TRASH-ONLY collection day.
