My dad , who is my hero , died this morning. He had all his family round him and passed away peacefully. I’m so lucky be his son and so blessed to have such a wonderful family . Thanks to the doctors and nurses at forth valley hospital. This is how I remember him.

Well I didn’t see that coming TOTAL SHUTDOWN with a review in 16 days. Devastating for an industry that’s worked its arse off to provide a Covid safe environment and keep it’s team employed . 40m divided between 15k businesses , lucky if that covers the 20% employers contribute

After a sweltering day in the polly tunnel @joolsnairn and I drove through to Glasgow to help out under the heilnman umbrella where a brilliant, insightful and humbling organisation “ homeless project Scotland “ are feeding people who find themselves in difficult circumstances.

For 5 weeks Stirling region’s hospitality industry has been in virtual lockdown. Yet we’ve had a sharp increase in infections. Does this not suggest -hospitality is NOT a major contributor & we should b concentrating on other areas , by ignoring reality we are endangering many.

This Ill considered DRS Scheme is causing huge concern in Scottish Hospitality . Why have we not been informed and consulted? Why are we not trialling it on 1 product? Why are we including glass which we already recycle? Why aren’t we going to b part of the uk scheme due in 2025?

Furious, dinner in independent restaurant , Cambridge, passed chains to get there. When we proffered cash to settle , told “ we don’t take this stuff ( Scottish notes) as it’s probably fake and anyway I’m not obliged “ fucking right you are!!! Then brexit proffered as reason ffs
