Yesterday morning my beautiful wife Susan passed away. Susie was just wonderful. I loved her with all my heart. I LOVE her with all my heart. I was truly blessed to have her by my side. Susie’s passing has left me heartbroken. I thought we had all the time in the world but…

This is my daughter, Rachel Handlin. Tonight, she earned her full Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography & Media from the prestigious California Institute of the Arts, @CalArts⁩. Rachel has #Downsyndrome. I am officially the proudest father on the planet. Fight me.

My wee pal Bob passed away this morning.He was a wee rescue dog.Pals for 15 years. We are a family heartbroken at his loss. Bob has appeared in many of my illustrations and We will miss him dearly. Thanks for being a pal. God bless wee man.

The other day I saw the saddest person I have ever seen. I then realised it was my reflection. The loss of my wonderful wife, Susie, has changed me irreversibly. This life is pointless without her. #grief every high is followed by the deepest low.

The witch hunt against Margaret Ferrier is shocking. What kind of society is this? Attacks from all sides. She is far from the only politician/person to break covid rules. No surprise the media have blown this into a feeding frenzy. I am concerned for her health. It has to stop

Susie's day went well. I did spend most of the day as a wreck. The undertakers were MacGregor's of Coatbridge. They did my Susie proud. She had a piper pipe her out the street. The ceremony was all about my beautiful Susie and lots of friends and family came to say farewell

Tomorrow is Susie's send-off. I hope I do her proud. I'm sure I will break down a few times, but I will get back up for Susie. I didn't even realise today was St. valentines Day. It's probably just as well. It would have just added to the pain. #IloveUs

This grief has the better of me. I’m on the ropes. Everything has changed. I’m not the man I used to be. I realise that it’s early days but I’m finding it difficult to see a future for me now my Susie has passed. I’m just treading water until better days.

This grief isn’t getting any easier. Absolutely everything has changed. I can’t think, I can’t breathe, I can’t function as I used to. Every minute seems like an hour. Everything I do is forgotten almost instantly. We both lost our lives the day Susie passed.
