We pay tribute to Ivor Robson, the official starter at The Open for over 40 years, who has sadly passed away at the age of 83.

We are saddened to learn that John Paramor, one of the most respected rules officials in golf, has died at the age of 67.
He spent 40+ years with @DPWorldTour, as well as supporting the Rules of Golf and refereeing at @TheOpen.
