Bruised, battered and now battle tested... tomorrow we hope to finish what we started... the first swim in history around the entire coast of Great Britain 🇬🇧 #GreatBritishSwim There might be tears, there WILL be hugs 🤗But CANNOT wait to celebrate with you all on the beach 🏖

It’s OFFICIAL 😊 Today the #greatbritishswim became recognised at the World’s Longest Staged Sea Swim (without flippers & snorkels). Muchos HAPPY but only a mini celebration, then 900 more miles. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you’ve ever commented, liked or shared CANNOT thank you enough

This is AMAZING 😃 Woke up today to find @RoyalMail have put congratulatory #GreatBritishSwim messages on everyone’s letters around Great Britain 🇬🇧 I’ve literally no words, just a massive sense of pride for our country and gratitude 😊

Blood, Sweat & Shrugs 😊 Took my brother @antmiddleton to @lborouniversity for a baptism of sports science! We call this ‘Battle Ready’ Programming because NO idea what I’m training for in 2019, but will be 100% ready when it arrives @ColMikeTanner @BearGrylls next session 😉

HUGE NEWS 😊 I’m honoured to be coaching on the new @Channel4 series “Sink or Swim” to raise money for @SU2CUK where we are attempting to coach 10 celebrities (who previously couldn’t swim) to cross the English Channel in a relay 💪🏽

One year ago I swum 100km pulling a 100-lbs tree between 2 islands but failed to touch land. (For me) I failed. Which is why it feels right to remember the words of Churchill “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts" #GreatBritishSwim
