UPDATE (1): At approximately 10:30 PM on the corner of Lamar Street and N Mittman Street, 3 suspects were walking and shot a gun towards an apartment complex. There was possibly an exchange of gunfire, resulting in one person deceased and 6 people total shot.

UPDATE (2)All individuals were transported to the hospital. At least 2 were children under the age of 12. One person transported to the hospital is a suspect. Another suspect is in custody. One suspect remains at large. This is preliminary information and could change.(12:05 AM)

Celebratory gunfire is extremely dangerous and illegal in Texas. Firing a gun recklessly inside city limits is a Class A Misdemeanor with up to one year in jail time and fines of up to $4,000. If you hear gunfire, report it immediately to the San Antonio Police Department’s

HAVE YOU SEEN THESE THIEVES? One burglary occurred at a thrift store on Camden St and another burglary occurred at a warehouse on Lexington Ave. The suspect wearing the hoodie appears to be involved in both building burglary cases. (1/2)

TWO SUSPECTS ARRESTED FOR MURDER AT LOCAL BAR On New Year's Day, the victim was shot and killed while he was in his car, driving away from a bar in the 9200 block of Potranco Rd. Now, the suspects are behind bars. Good work from the Homicide Unit.(1/2)
