The Battle of I-10 men's basketball game at the Don Haskins Center on Saturday is SOLD OUT. Last time the Don was at full capacity for a basketball game was for the 50th anniversary of the 1966 Texas Western NCAA championship team. UTEP beat WKU, 93-89, in OT on Feb. 6, 2016.

Love to see it. Before the Vikings’ Salute to Service game on Sunday, El Paso’s Aaron Jones was surprised by his mother, Vurgess. Aaron’s parents served a combined 56 years in the U.S. Army. Jones is the Vikings’ 2025 Salute to Service nominee.
