You know what I need and what every scientist needs? A science buddy/friend. Let me explain: someone when you get a research idea you can call them up and say “hey listen to this. What do you think? Am I crazy or do I got something?” Idk just a thought 🤷🏾‍♂️

If I can give all young scientists some unsolicited advice. Make sure you give yearly updates to your past research mentors (if you had a good relationship with them). They love hearing from you and about your journey. they are also a wealth of knowledge to tap into.
