The Trump admin is reportedly in cahoots with the Iranian gov't to send asylum seekers back to face likely torture, imprisonment, & possibly death. Blanche denied this policy & made clear he will turn a blind eye to anything politically inconvenient for the President.

I am shocked & deeply saddened by Lindsey Graham’s passing. I will forever remember our last lengthy conversation this weekend, when he exulted at reaching an agreement on our Russian sanctions bill & said, ‘this is a big effing deal—we all did good.’ 1/

I remember serving on a panel with him at the Munich Security Conference and he brought uproarious laughs with a string of expletives—his sense of humor was indominable & irreverent, even in the most serious, diplomatic settings. 7/
