I’m saddened to hear of the unexpected passing of my colleague, Senator Lindsey Graham. Sending prayers to his family, loved ones, and constituents in South Carolina as they mourn his loss.

The Trump admin wants to alter American history to follow to his agenda. The Smithsonian museums should be a place for us to learn about all our history, the good and the bad.

A new White House report accuses current Smithsonian leadership of imposing a “radical, activist ideology” on the museums and refusing to tell “the noble, honest story of the great country we know and love.” Read more about the report here: wapo.st/4brivrw

The recent heatwave is just another reminder that we need to invest in protecting and restoring our planet before it’s too late.

For an Administration committed to "Making America Healthy Again," they're taking every opportunity to cut science-based efforts to keep our communities safe.

Trump's EPA just axed monitoring for microplastics in the country's drinking water for two years. In a new proposal for the agency's Sixth Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule, the EPA outlined 30 unregulated contaminants public water systems will track between 2028 and 2030.

During his time as President, Trump has made billions off crypto and stocks. He's filling his pockets while millions of Americans struggle to pay for healthcare and housing.

President Trump’s attempt to end birthright citizenship was unlawful and unconstitutional. The Supreme Court rejected that effort today, but Congress cannot stand by as Trump continues testing the limits of his power and trying to rewrite the law in his favor.

And today, the Supreme Court said that no president can. The Constitution says, if you're born in America, you're an American.

No President, including Donald Trump, has the power to unilaterally change our constitution and strip away the birthright citizenship defined within it. Today's decision is not the end of the road. My parents came to this country 50 years ago in awe of what America stood for.

Independent agencies exist so the American people can have faith that decisions being made about their lives are in their best interest - no one else’s. This decision sets a dangerous new precedent for the future of our nation.

But in another ruling issued at the same time the court granted Trump the ability to fire FTC Commissioner Rebecca Slaughter, generally furthering the President’s control over independent agencies other than the Fed.

I’m glad the Supreme Court affirmed that ballots mailed by election day will still be counted. Millions of Americans rely on mail-in ballots as a safe and secure way to make their voices heard. I’ll continue to work hard to keep our elections fair and free from interference.

Tearing down the people's house and building a stage for the UFC to make money is a perfect visual for this administration's priorities.
