My wife filed her tax return on Sunday evening & got her refund - albeit a small amount - TODAY ITSELF. On seeing it, she called in excitement as she was sooo pleasantly surprised. Such speed from GoI unheard off b4. Kudos @FinMinIndia @nsitharamanoffc @narendramodi @PMOIndia👏👌

Pls look at this really interesting chart on the performance of the Pakistani Rupee vis-a-vis INR pre- and post Demonetisation. Slope is decreasing till Nov 2016 when Demonetisation occurred. After that, slope is consistently positive, ie depreciation wrt INR!!??

I have long maintained that the MUDRA loan scheme is practically worthless to promote businesses SBI has taken pride that in the TN-Puducherry zone the bank had distributed Rs 1000 crore to 26,750 MUDRA beneficiaries in 2021-22 Mighty impressive numbers until one does the math

₹48*(1.036^8)=₹64 => 3.6% p.a. ₹38*(1.04^8)=₹52 => 4.0% p.a. Both ≤ Inflation target of 4%. Apart from not knowing if GDP is stock or flow (x.com/SubramanianKri…) @PChidambaram_IN is arithmetically challenged too🤦‍♂️ We know why UPA delivered 2-digit inflation for 1.5 yrs!

In May 2014, when the UPA government demitted office, prices of Full Cream milk & Toned milk were Rs 48 & Rs 38 per litre respectively At the end of 8 yrs, under the NDA government, prices are Rs 64 and Rs 52 per litre respectively That is an increase of Rs 16 & Rs 14 per litre
