A black person shouldn’t have to be perfect or extraordinary or a college grad or a parent in order to explain why they deserved to not be shot by a police officer. This is a simple concept.
Too often, black women are left out of the conversation. We can’t discuss athletes giving things up for equality without screaming MAYA MOORE. One of the greatest to play the game - stepped AWAY from the wnba to fight for criminal justice reform. Let’s lift her up.
