‼️ HVAC rep legit just said "We know our prices are competitive because we meet with all the other vendors in the area at least once a year to make sure we're in alignment." ‼️ This was their defense to my husband's complaint on how they completely took advantage of my mother.

I married the craziest man. He's been on a hunt for a used car. Finds the perfect one in Huntley, IL. We live in NC. Gets me to agree to him booking a same-day flight. Gets to the airport and American bumped him. Negotiates a $200 flight credit. Basically pays for the flight.

Charlotte, NC loves big homes and sometimes developers have weird lots to work with, but I can't imagine paying $3M to have the neighbors on top of me and these weird driveways. What about you? Love it or hate it?

This type of thing reminds me how much I hate what is allowed in food marketing. Kodiak started as a small, independent, healthy food brand. It got bought out by PE. Now PE is taking advantage of consumer trust to boost their own gains. To say "less sugar than maple syrup"

Water bill was 500% higher than usual. Checked all unit showers, tubs, sinks, hot water heater, basement plumbing etc. Not in the differential but is now: tenant runs sink when she leaves for multiple days because that's the only way her cat will drink water.

The real price of going @REconveneLA (yay!!!) next wk: My hubs + I divide home/childcare tasks evenly but I'm the chef/meal planner. Tomorrow I'm prepping everything on this list to make his life easier while solo-parenting (and ensure I enjoy the time away w/o feeling guilty!!)
