Congratulations to Andy Burnham on his appointment as Prime Minister - the UK’s 7th in 10 years. He is right that Westminster has failed Scotland. I will work with him to improve the lives of people in Scotland, and to deliver the choice over our future that they have voted for.

I promised we’d end the 8am rush for GP appointments, and we’re getting on with the job. Glasgow’s first GP walk-in service is now open, in Cardonald. It’s the 9th walk-in centre in Scotland, with more opening soon. The SNP is on your side and we’re delivering for Scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We promised to support first time buyers with £10,000 towards a deposit - and we delivered. The First Homes Fund is now open, and will help more people buy their first home and get out of the rent trap. That's what you get with an SNP government that's on your side. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

On a personal level, I wish Keir Starmer and his family well. Leadership places extraordinary demands on those who serve, and on the families who support them. He has made the right decision, but what happens next must be about more than a change of Prime Minister.
