Congratulations to Andy Burnham on his appointment as Prime Minister - the UK’s 7th in 10 years. He is right that Westminster has failed Scotland. I will work with him to improve the lives of people in Scotland, and to deliver the choice over our future that they have voted for.

50 days ago, we formed a new government and we’re getting on with delivering for you. ✅ Opened more GP walk-in centres ✅ Launched the First Homes Fund to support first time buyers ✅ Working to extend the £2 bus fare cap across Scotland Plenty done. Plenty more to do.

I promised we’d end the 8am rush for GP appointments, and we’re getting on with the job. Glasgow’s first GP walk-in service is now open, in Cardonald. It’s the 9th walk-in centre in Scotland, with more opening soon. The SNP is on your side and we’re delivering for Scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Busy few weeks delivering on our promises: ✅ Our First Homes Fund is supporting first time buyers with £10,000. ✅ More GP walk-in centres have opened. ✅ MyCare.scot app now available. ✅ More support with childcare costs. And we're only just getting started.

We promised to support first time buyers with £10,000 towards a deposit - and we delivered. The First Homes Fund is now open, and will help more people buy their first home and get out of the rent trap. That's what you get with an SNP government that's on your side. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @EYnews results today show that Scotland has retained our position as the top destination outside London for the 11th year in a row. Our investment attractiveness is at record levels, thanks to our skilled workforce, strong infrastructure, and @theSNP’s support for business.

Ten years ago, Scotland overwhelmingly voted to remain in the EU but was taken out against our will. Our best future lies in becoming an independent member state of the EU, working with our neighbours to build a stronger, more prosperous country. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇪🇺

On a personal level, I wish Keir Starmer and his family well. Leadership places extraordinary demands on those who serve, and on the families who support them. He has made the right decision, but what happens next must be about more than a change of Prime Minister.

Celebrating the fantastic election result of our new MP for Arbroath and Broughty Ferry @larabirdsnp, with SNP activists in Monifieth. While Westminster descends into more chaos and infighting, we are focused on tackling the cost of living and delivering for Scotland.

Very disappointed with the result in Aberdeen South, @theSNP vote remains strong but it is clear that tactical voting has had a real impact on the result. Congratulations to Douglas Lumsden. Well done to @thomsonrichardg and his dedicated team for their efforts.
