Today, I'm 8 years clean and sober. My name is Tom and I'm a grateful recovering heroin and fentanyl addict. Recovery gave me a new life full of faith, hope and love. I now understand what gratitude means. Thank you all and thank you God.

It's simple. If you want to keep federal troops out of San Francisco, remove the organized drug dealers and 80% of the problem goes away. If you don't, you reap what you sow.

Look, nobody really wants troops on our streets. But this evolution of Benioff is a direct result of San Francisco continuing to allow (yes, allow) an organized drug dealing network of 500-1k dealers operate unabated in broad daylight for the past decade. That's the truth.

Anyone who is mad at Trump’s executive order on homelessness need to understand that this policy change occurred for one reason. The existing policies rooted in harm reduction did far more harm than good and completely ignored the larger harms to the community. 🧵

Pretty much 80% of San Francisco wants federal intervention on deporting drug dealers. That's how insane it's been here. 90+ kilos of fentanyl seized in one year by SFPD. 4,300 OD deaths since 2020. Hard data doesn't lie.

Newsom tried to sue to keep Prop 36 off the ballot. Then he tried to strong arm it off the ballot. Then he tried to negotiate it off the ballot. Then, he publicly voiced his opposition to it. Then it passed with 70% of the vote. He knew.

Has there EVER been anything on which 70%+ of Californians agreed? Never forget that @CAgovernor @GavinNewsom went to COURT to remove Prop 36 (making repeated theft or drugs a crime again) from the ballot! Newsom led the anti-36 efforts. This was a referendum on Newsomism.
