Our visit to Beni with @PierreAkilimal1, @YapBoum2 @Chikwe_I & @Prof_TBalde was encouraging. The spread of Ebola is concerning, but partners are supporting the authorities to strengthen response capacities. We need to accelerate our efforts, close to the communities.

Coordination sounds boring. But when disaster strikes, it saves lives. Responding to Venezuela earthquakes over last fortnight demanded watertight alignment of local authorities, states, search and rescue teams, private sector, and NGOs. This is the stadium where it happens.
