Those knee armors saved my ACL for sure when a 320lb dude fell into my knee sideways Forever grateful for those The NFL guys I worked with claimed they restricted their explosiveness and movement so the trade off is performance or safety To get that money need performance

Rankings before kids hit puberty is a money grab You have some 14 year olds with beards throwing 85 and others that weigh 100lbs soaking wet throwing 68 Then at 18 that kid with the beard is the exact same and the other kid is throwing 90+ I’ve seen it literally 1000 times

I tested 120 shoulders in the last week 27 of them failed my screening - all 27 are either football players or their HS does football lifts for baseball players - none of them are over 86 on the mound (most are 78-82 and have garbage push mechanics) The stats don’t lie My
