Folks, your friendly neighborhood Muslim here. Please don't use Islamic terms to describe the fascist movement in America. It isn't Sharia, which allows abortion, or Islamic law or the Taliban. It's white Christian nationalism. Name it. The radical movement is homegrown.

We've been in lockdown since late February. We have an immuno-compromised daughter who survived Stage 4 cancer this year. For everyone who still wears masks, practices social distancing & realizes coronavirus is a global pandemic, we sincerely thank you for saving lives.

Here's a video to give you hope & make you smile: our warrior princess Nusayba gave her liver donor @ShawnZed a hug today after ringing the bell. After 9 months of enduring stage 4 liver cancer, she is officially cancer free. I'm so proud of her. She is the bravest person I know.
