We were caught on the hop today when Ruby announced his retirement. He has been with us since he was 16 and a huge part of our team. Such a natural talent, he is one of the best we have ever seen. Best of luck Ruby and your family on your very well deserved retirement

#AlBoumPhoto & #Melon retired today. Fantastic horses for Marie & Joe Donnelly and our yard. Al Boum Photo gave us two @CheltenhamRaces Gold Cups which was very special and Melon was such a consistent performer. We wish them all the best in their new eventing careers

#UndeSceaux has been retired today. He has been an incredible horse to train, every day he gave his best at home & on the track. Right up to the end, he was trying to impersonate a 4-year-old. He’s been a huge star in our yard & he’ll be hugely missed especially by @VirginieB70

I’m sad to report that we lost Riley this week. He was a great character in our yard for a long time and a real favourite with all our staff, owners and visitors. RIP Riley, you will be missed

Djakadam retires today and will go back to his breeder in France. A fantastic horse to train and have in Closutton and a wonderful career to match. Thanks to Jason Dear who looked after him so well
