We have received notice from the Ontario Ministry of Education that all Ontario schools will remain closed for two weeks following the March break. All Ontario schools will be closed March 16 until April 5, 2020. Schools are expected to reopen Monday, April 6.
This weekend, we witnessed swastikas, the confederate flag & other symbols of hate in our nation’s capital. We condemn these actions & remain strong in our resolve to oppose all forms of hate, promote human rights & create environments that are safe, equitable and inclusive.
CUPE has announced deal has been reached. YRDSB schools will be open to students and transportation services running on Monday, October 7. Please be patient as schools return to normal operations tomorrow. If your child is not attending, please report their absence.
