😂😂😂
I remember this guy telling me to lie to his Mum that I studied abroad.
His Mum said and I quote “you look like it, you talk like it but something feels off”
Madam is me, I’m not any money abeg🤣🤣🤣🤣
- Paid rent myself.
- Went for therapy.
- Accepted myself.
- Joined a prayer group and got closer to God.
- Beat depression.
- Accepted my mistakes and now working on being better.
- Got nominated “employee of the year”.
- Finally open to trying Love again.
- I’m hopeful!
Omo! This just reminded me of when I was plying Ayobo to Lekki for 70k monthly.
I’d leave home at 5am and return very late at night.
One traffic had me trek from Ikeja along to Baruwa bus-stop, I got home that day and wept. You’d think someone died, omo na my will to work die.
Everything about that company was off 😩
From the receptionist who never answered my greetings, to the team lead who sounded confused, then the HR who wanted to run deeper life work ethics and the Manager who was trying to get into my pants.
I quit the second week!
Turned on my camera, smiling, all prepped for questions only to hear that I’d be offered CS Lead against the earlier applied CS Rep I applied for.
Salary was better and for the first time I got Pension and benefits.
Lol.
Till this day, that is what I hold onto.
