- Amazon already added 1,500 jobs this year before these 1,500 — w/o subsidies
- Google adding 20K jobs, didn't ask for subsidies.
- HQ2 jobs would have been 2% of job growth that NYC already has
- richest corp that pays 0 fed taxes
Witnessed a disturbing incident in broad daylight on 5th ave / 21st St in NYC today. About 50 young boys on bikes blocked 5th ave traffic & trashed an SUV, riders inside, jumping on the windshield. Car had medical license plates & a man & older woman inside.
I’ve been there with the 60 days to deportation & it will drive you mad. If anyone can hire him at all, they’d save a life. Once you’re deported, it’s almost impossible to come back.
