It works perfectly, almost every single time. It's inoffensive, polite but doesn't leave room for questions, succinct, and not overly personal or revealing about yourself - you don't need to pretend to pee to get off the phone anymore.
Years ago…asked a Sephora employee once for help finding section where my moisturizer would be. Was directed to location then told “let me know if you need help finding something actually moisturizing” I’ve never been more gagged to this day
