Is it naive to desire that games are made to be fun and entertaining, than to be optimized? Is it naive that I think shareholder expectations has no place in the field of art?
Am I still too childish to hope to create for the love of the art than to make an efficient product?馃様
Seeing destiny's state now made me realize that art ebbs and flows. It's susceptible to many moving parts that are not effectively artistic. Something that has potential and passion can still ultimately meet its end, even if the odds didn't add fairly.
