Smart accounts are more expensive than EOAs - but by how much? 🤷
Introducing the MinimalAccount - the most gas-optimised ERC-4337 account, written in @huff_language - built to find out the answer to exactly that question
I’m looking for an artist to create some pfps, in anime/sketch-ish style and have some pretty specific ideas in mind already.
I’d be grateful for any intros to artists anyone here has worked with and feel free to dm (if you’re an artists pls add a link to prior work)
Indexing is still a pain for smart accounts. I played around with @ponder_sh some more today and built a pretty simple ERC-4337 multi-chain indexer: github.com/kopy-kat/erc43…
To get it up and running you only need to provide the relevant rpc urls and start syncing - even if you're
Over the last two weeks, I’ve been hacking at ETHDenver, the worlds largest web3 hackathon. Out of 7,500+ hackers and 300+ attendees, my team was selected as one of the winning teams.
Over the last week, I’ve been working overtime to 100x L2 -> L1 calldata compression. I finally have a prototype to share for lossless compression that will blow your mind. It’s a novel technique I invented, here’s how it works: 👇
After building and optimising the first ERC-4337 account in Huff, we realised that there are a lot more savings to be squeezed out of the EntryPoint 🤑🤑
Thats why @leekt216 and I re-wrote the ERC-4337 EntryPoint entirely in Huff:

I was just laid off from my position at Ethereum. I was the PM in charge of enshrining EOAs. If you’re an alt-L1 or an L2 looking to further enshrine EOAs, DM me
🚀 It's been an incredible journey so far and I'm rly grateful for the support of our investors to help us pioneer modular account abstraction and take web3 ux to another level
Its kinda crazy that no one has brought this up before, but have you ever wondered why EIP-3074 and ERC-4337 share all and only the same numbers (0 is not a number)? 🤯
I did some research to find out what big Ethereum is trying to hide from us and the answer will likely
EIP 7702 feels like an approach to improving EOAs that is more aligned with smart accounts and generally more future proof: github.com/ethereum/EIPs/…
I think it would probably make more sense to include in Pectra than 3074
Uk unis acceptance rate mainly depends on the course so there’s pretty high variance. Eg in Oxford the admission rate can go as low as 3% (in 2022) but the average across all courses (and potentially including postgrad) is likely higher
Saying 3074 reduces the incentive to switch to smart accounts is major cope
Batching and sponsoring are tablestakes, the real power of smart accounts lies in programmable validation and execution
If we build powerful products uniquely enabled by smart accounts, ppl will switch
