90% of the campaign has been attacking Labour for growing the city-region using a loan fund that *had to be used* to drive market residential growth because that's what the Conservatives mandated. Every penny was paid back multiple times and the Greens know that. Populist slop.

What Polanski fails to understand is that the growth Andy and Sir Richard Leese before him championed is the exact reason we can now invest hundreds of millions in surrounding towns through the Good Growth Fund - it wouldn't exist without the city-region's recent prosperity.
