The part of this release I'm most excited about: the loans.
For years, "borrowing against your Bitcoin" has meant handing it to somebody and trusting them not to
1/ Bitcoin dropped 30% in a day.
Every BTC-backed loan liquidated their borrowers.
Sold their collateral. Kept the proceeds. Sent them a receipt.
Legal. Expected. Baked into the architecture.
Some new platforms tried to fix the custody problem.
