Interested in the interplay between quantum computing and machine learning? Our paper exploring the benefits and applications of quantum convolutional neural networks has just appeared on arXiv, check it out! arxiv.org/abs/2308.16664
Very happy to share that (most of) the talk that I gave at QTML 2024 in Melbourne has now been uploaded to YouTube! Very grateful to have the opportunity to speak on our recent works on tackling graph problems with quantum algorithms

Some evening reading for any #QuantumComputing or data analysis enthusiasts!
We exploit the density of states in a new quantum algorithm for topological data analysis, a robust method for analysing complex data based on the data's "shape". Check it out!

May: was a lot of fun to be a part of the team organising and hosting Pint of Science @pintofscience this year in Exeter. Bringing high quality science to the public over a drink. Was especially nice to introduce the talk of my supervisor, Oleksandr Kyriienko π
June: enjoyed a trip to the Institute of Physics for an excellent workshop on quantum machine learning. Very rewarding to get insights into the future from several field leaders. Especially grateful to have the opportunity to present some of my work on learning BQP protocols!
July: had some exciting discussions with physicists at NPL, culminating in our preprint on using quantum simulation to study quantum spin liquids π§πΏβπ¬check it out! arxiv.org/abs/2407.04205
