Today, MVP @ChristianYelich stopped by the hospital to hang out with some of our MVPs (Most Valuable Patients). Jack has been in the hospital since May 19 and watching the Brewers on TV has brought him comfort. Thank you, Christian, for bringing smiles to our kids’ faces.

Marcus recently donated two “Smart Carts” to Children’s Wisconsin in honor of our beloved Buck Jrue Holiday and his wife, Lauren. The carts — loaded with Nintendo Switch Lites, tablets, games and other items — will help kids in our Infusion and Dialysis areas.

If anyone knows about overcoming obstacles, it’s @Donald_Driver80...and 8-year-old Larry. Larry just finished 8 months of treatment for brain cancer. While the @packers season ended sadly, there is next year. And Larry will be there to cheer them on. Thank you @Triumph2gether!

Recently, @ChristianYelich - @Brewers superstar, @MLB MVP and all-around amazing guy — donated 50 pairs of Beats headphones and six Nintendo Switches to kids at the MACC Fund Center at Children’s Wisconsin. On the field and off, Christian is a pro at making kids smile. THANK YOU!

Wednesday, Nov. 24, 4 p.m. We are thankful to share that three more kids injured on Sunday at the Waukesha parade will be home for Thanksgiving, where they will continue their recovery.

Children’s Wisconsin immediately prepared for a surge of patients after receiving notification from law enforcement of the incident at the Waukesha Christmas Parade. As of 8 p.m., Children’s Wisconsin received 15 patients, with no reported fatalities at our hospital at that time

Thank you to all the @Brewers players, coaches and wives who stopped by today & brought smiles to the faces of our patients. Patients like Jr., who has been in and out of Children’s Hospital a lot in his two years due to complications with sickle cell disease. Stay strong, Jr!

Demone knows as well as anyone the toll long appointments at the hospital can take. He comes to Children’s Wisconsin three days a week for dialysis, each session lasting three hours.
