After nearly two weeks of treatment, today I was released from the hospital. Extremely grateful to the nurses and doctors for their devoted care. Many thanks to my fans and colleagues for the warm support. It will take time to get back to normal, but I’m so glad I’m recovering.
Nanai was a great guy, well liked by all―a rarity in the FGC. It's a scene full of oddballs, and I only hope it wasn't too hard on him. I hope he had a good time. Always hardworking, he had his whole life ahead of him. It's such a shame.
When you're reborn, let's play again.
On 5/5, I experienced fatigue and a high fever, so I went to the doctor to get tested. On 5/6, I tested positive for COVID-19. I have been self-quarantining since the symptoms started, and am now resting at home while awaiting word from the health admin office for next steps.
I won today's CPT.
This year I caught COVID-19, broke a finger, and wasn't getting great tournament results, but it seems good things do happen if you keep trying your best. I'll savor this just for today and get back to work tomorrow.
Man, Kawano sure has grown.
Today I received the first ever EVO Impact Award alongside @JWonggg. Thank you for this honor, and I'll keep doing my best to make a big impact in fighting games. #EVO2024
