This is both ridiculous and fair portrayal of the engineering costs of adding a feature compared with removing the same feature.
It was radical 10 years ago for a programming language standard library to ship with a HTTP server. Now it feels like the right default for a general-purpose language.

After years of working on distributed systems I still keep being surprised by how easy it is miss potential outcomes. The state space is too vast for the human brain.
