We thank you for working with us this morning. At 10:15, the SPP lifted the current order and intermittent outages have been suspended at this time. Power should be coming back online soon for those impacted. We thank you for conserving energy and ask that you continue to do so.

It's been a rough day, but we thank you for sticking with us and our crews as we restore power throughout our service area. There were 270,000 customers without power at some point today. We're down to about 5,000.

🚨 OUTAGE UPDATE 🚨 As of 7 a.m., we have about 100,000 Evergy customers without power in our service area. More than 186,000 Evergy customers lost power as Friday’s storm and high winds moved across Kansas and Missouri.

OPPD sent four crews to assist @evergypower in KS w/ power restoration after a strong storm w/ 100mph winds knocked out power to 186k customers in Kansas & Missouri late Friday. The crews are working in Topeka today & will then head to the KC area.

From Carol in Topeka: "Our neighborhoods power went out at 5:45 this morning. With sub-zero temperatures predicted for the next two days, the timing couldn't have been worse. Evergy was here at 7:30 and had everybody's power back on by 10:45."
