A bottom tab bar on its own is a solved problem. So is a hamburger drawer. Doing both at once (one nested in the other) is where it gets interesting. We saw @maazscript building in public and asked him to show how to nest a drawer around a tab navigator with Expo Router, no

If your app feels premium you're going to hold onto users. That's an easy thing to say and a more difficult thing to do. Which is why we've started gathering all the best, more beautiful open source demos from our community. Talented people like @reactiive_, @hewad_mubariz,

Profiling my @expo app using GPTโ€‘5.6 + Argent helped cut a page's render time by 33% in a single prompt. Performance debugging is getting too easy.

SDK upgrades shouldn't block everyone's work for a couple weeks. And yet....we know it happens for big complex apps. @PrizePicks rebuilt CD for React Native to avoid that stoppage time: JS ships the day it merges, native rides its own train, and the Expo fingerprint sorts them

If your app's startup time feels slower than usual you need to know which release caused the slow down. That's the kind of use case we built our Observability service for. Observe ties every metric to the exact build and update that shipped it. Every release lands on the

It's a hell of a time to be a developer. Everything you know about systems, tradeoffs, and what's worth building just got more valuable. The typing got cheap. You didn't. @sethwebster new essay on why the ceiling got higher for developers and how to feel about it โ†“
