A co-conspirator matching the description of Trail Blazers Coach, Chauncey Billups, is named in the Terry Rozier indictment. He is alleged to have told a defendant that the team would bench starters & tank the March 24 game. That defendant shared this info with bettors previously

The Trail Blazers went on to bench starters & lose by 28 points. This was literally the next night after the game in which Terry Rozier allegedly tipped defendants off that he would leave a game early & to bet his unders. This is going to be made into a movie.

Tough to see a sports betting issue get this much traction today & yet this is moving so fast, it will get voted on tomorrow before anyone can organize. And also, if you explained to the Trump fam what this does to poker & sports betting, they’d be like “wait, we did what?!”

RT for awareness. Tax code is already punitive to poker players (you get taxed on winning years but can't write off losing years unless you file as a pro; it's easy to have a down year even as a good player) and Senate-passed version of OBBBA would make it considerably worse.

This is an incredible admission from Fanatics that nearly half of limited players have a net negative balance. They've taken your money & said now go away. He framed it as they are behavior-focused. MGC may not agree that *all* of the people that Fanatics limits are bad apples.

.@JoeBrennanJr put on a masterclass at today's MGC meeting on bettor limits in defense of the player, to steal words from @BillSperos. This is the main point in all of this: Where are winning or advantage players supposed to go? The law is more or less silent on this question.
