A weird thing about being young, female, and slightly right-wing is that people just don't buy it - in left-coded environments I just receive an "it's great to have more women's voices" participation medal and the assumption that I probably meant something other than what I said
The persistent charge that @RachelMoiselle is a "grifter" is a curious consequence of the fact that anti-Israel sentiment is so ubiquitous in Ireland that people are unable to grasp that anyone could legitimately want to challenge it.
I haven’t received so many messages and emails in my whole life as I have over the past number of days in response to the Irish disinformation campaign against me.
I cannot express how much it means to me. Thank you so much. Go raibh míle maith agaibh.
Hey Rachel! As another Trinity student who’s been following you for a while, this is very concerning! Would you mind sending me a direct message about this?
A few months ago, I wrote an article about Trinity's divestment from Israel for my student paper. But after the final version had already been accepted, there was a change of heart - it was too "controversial". I've published it here instead.
Yes! Real life Nicolas (30 ans) is a normie who cares about climate change because of his girlfriend. Crucially, he only voted Remain because he wanted to go on Erasmus. He’s not that political (yet). His is a generalised grievance rooted in the fact that his life is just worse.
The French students who joined this photo spontaneously were an inspiration - a reminder that standing with Charlie Hebdo 10 years on doesn't have to be complicated.
A pleasure to speak for @LivingFreedomUK!
10 years after the Islamist assassination of cartoonists and staff at @Charlie_Hebdo_ the flame of free speech still burns.
We took inspiration from them and said, #JeSuisToujoursCharlie.
But free speech is ours to lose, and the fight must continue.

I wrote about the dumbing down of assessments a while back for @TheCriticMag - the constant lowering of standards with vague reference to minorities is deeply patronising, and often these changes are little more than glorified cutbacks.
If @UniofOxford has decided to trash itself, it will deserve to crash down international league tables. But the dumbing down of education across the university sector is a disaster for the nation. The next gov’t should bring in a Royal Commission. telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/01/2…
Great from @timcrowley_ in @spikedonline on the behemoth that is Athena SWAN in Ireland: conforming is explicitly tied to research funding & failing to harms career prospects of individual academics. Fundamentally incompatible with academic freedom policies of the same unis.
Irish academics are now compelled by their universities to promote gender ideology. Failure to promote an “affirmative” environment can lead to lost funding and ruined careers. This is an affront to freedom of conscience, says Tim Crowley

Spotted today at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland’s most ‘elite’ university.
The Israeli flag has been ripped off this poster. However, the vandal saw fit to keep the Nazi flag, ISIS flag, and the flag of the Soviet Union intact.
Says it all really.
Looking for a place to live in Dublin from September onwards - I'm a final year student at Trinity with ample good recommendations from past housemates. Do reach out with any leads!
