one downside of kpopped is you can really see which of the western artists viewed them as real people and artists working hard in an industry just like themselves and which of them were like “awwww it’s those singing and dancing asians” and don’t take them seriously
there’s one group where i truly will never understand how they got as big as they did given their music isn’t good, they haven’t been able to dance well for years now, racist scandals, chemi isn’t great, etc. like genuinely i will never understand how they got where they are
