What a bell end. Manages to prove though, that cis men don't need to 'pretend to be women' in order to disrespect social boundaries meant to protect women, they just go ahead and do it in broad daylight. They even film themselves doing it.

STORY TIME: In like, early 2016, I noticed an acquaintance seemed to be getting more and more right wing. I DMd him about it and he replied with slurs and homophobic memes. I sent a screenshot to his mum, and the next day he posted a rant about being 'cancelled' by 'the left'.

There's a whole genre of intellectually lazy media criticism that seems actively resistant towards the idea that things in media can be symbolic and that engaging with those things on a literal level is failing to properly engage with the media.

I want all the anti-trans queers to watch very closely as anti-trans rhetoric broadens to wider mainstream anti-gay rhetoric. I want them to understand how their reward for being "one of the good ones" will be the same as the punishment for being "one of the bad ones".

In the last 48 hours I've had @jk_rowling fans flooding my mentions calling me a man, a homophobe, a predator, that I need to be 'cured' of being trans, that I'm intersex because of "drug abuse" and that I deserve all this abuse because gay people have gone 'too far'. Thanks Jo.
