If you are experienced and haven’t been able to use GPT4 to speed up your coding, you are using AI wrong

That's crazy, they need some automatic limit, surprise bills like this are infuriating.

I started my own thing and working without all those things as well. Feels good, I really don’t want to go back

It would be computationally super expensive to use computer vision on the scale that SEO crawlers handle. Maybe someday, but not soon I think

Speed. It’s faster to review something about a topic you know very well than write it from scratch.

Incredible how the human brain works. Most people don't do things that they could definitely do if they tried because they know they are hard. Time is going to pass anyways, might as well do something worthwhile in the meantime.

As a non-american their tipping culture seems insane, complaining that they received "only" 10% extra on top of the normal price of the product 🤦‍♂️

Agree completely. Tests are another tool that gives me even more confidence when making changes. They take time to write, but give you speed later. Tests are actually one of the best use cases for AI imo, reducing the time to write them will increase their value by a lot.

Someone will always find a way to extract instructions if they try hard enough, people extracted all of OpenAI’s own prompts. Trying to avoid is is a losing game I think

I disagree. A lot of the programming work people do is very simple CRUD apps. AI-assisted no-code tools will become 10x better and the need for devs will be reduced to more complex tasks, not simple web apps. Most devs can’t do these more complex tasks and will be displaced
