A simple post I made on LinkedIn went “viral”. Hitting nearly 46k impressions. A number I never thought I’d ever see on my LinkedIn, never mind a post I made quite flippantly. But clearly it’s a subject that resonates wit many devs around the world. “Developer” != 10 roles

My latest LinkedIn post is attracting a lot of attention What do you think about developers needing to be jacks-of-all-trades now? Is the consultancy model killing off dev specialisms? Let’s chat! #DevLife #Consultancy #SkillsShift

In meetings: “Take this offline” means 2 things. “No time for details now, schedule another meeting.” Or, more likely: “Don’t raise here—you’re making too much sense, I need no witnesses—discuss privately.”

I've been infuriated with @ThreeUK for over a month. My iPhone shows 4G or 5G and 4 bars of signal, yet I can't load webpages, check email, view social media or even load my @MCardtravel app to open my bus ticket. I thought the @VodafoneThreeUK acquisition was to improve signal?!

I can’t stress enough the importance of conducting a post mortem report following an incident in a dev team Document: - what happened - how you were alerted - diagnosis steps - outcome of investigation - proposed / actual fix Your future devs and stakeholders will thank u.
