We just went through the @eulerfinance exploit and delved into the root cause - the idea is that donateToReserve *burns* the e-tokens but does not burn the corresponding d-tokens. That created a huge "virtual" debt the attacker could liquidate and get rewarded for it. 1/3 🧵

We decompiled the Vyper pools deployed contract code with the missing reentrancy locks (of the exploits of @AlchemixFi , @MetronomeDAO and @JPEGd_69) and indeed - different storage slots are used as reentrancy locks - thus rendering the reentrancy lock as non-effective obviously:
