I'm excited to announce I'll be Program Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Saint Luke's @MidAmericaHeart @UMKC starting in July! I'm especially grateful to work with fellows at the same institution where I trained. Can't wait to get started!

All who aspire to be great interventional cardiologists must first learn to obtain excellent coronary angiograms. I will dye on this hill.

Thought I’d share a little piece of good news: I passed the ABIM Adult Congenital Heart Disease certification. It was the most challenging test I’ve ever taken. Truly love taking care of these patients. #ACHD

99% of interventional cardiology is this: 1) advance or withdraw 2) clockwise or counter rotate If things got worse, reverse whatever you just did If better, keep going If the same, but you didn’t accomplish your goal, try something different That’s pretty much it

Anyone else really disappointed that Time’s Person of the Year is not “the health care worker”? Would have been a nice gesture for those who have sacrificed and are sacrificing so much.

As some have identified, this valve was in-folded. We successfully retrieved the valve and put in a new one. I want to expand on this issue a bit. 🧵
