OpenAI's new o1 model is a BIG breakthrough in AI intelligence, if IQ tests say anything. I gave it the Norway Mensa IQ test, and it blows other AIs out of the water. I'm surprised!... Because there hadn't been public progress in the last 6mo. Link to full analysis below:

I still can’t get over this. A sitting member of congress saying that people should be hired by the government based on skin color. Progressives racism must be called out as they try to institutionalize it.

Just plotted the new @OpenAI model on my AI IQ tracking page. Note that this test is an offline-only IQ quiz that a Mensa member created for my testing, which is *not in any AI training data* (so scores are lower than for public IQ tests.) OpenAI's new model does very well

Sam Harris says out loud what the NYT/CNN/WaPo “journalists” who covered up the Hunter scandal knew privately: it’s not that the story was untrue, but that it’d help Trump, & they hate Trump. But that’s no excuse for “journalists” to hide the truth.

The charitable interpretation of @RealCandaceO's remark is NOT that Hitler would be fine if he stayed in Germany -- but rather that he wasn't a real nationalist as he had global ambitions. But some will be eager to call her pro-Hitler because they fear she is effective persuader

You misunderstand deficits. The deficit doesn't mean govt "gives more than it takes", because its money has to come from somewhere. Governments finance a deficit either by A) borrowing money from capitalists, or B) printing money, which is just a hidden tax on everyone.
