Hello everyone,
With Kotatsu's recent shutdown and due to some ongoing issues over the years, I believe Mihon is also under threat. If you care about the project's future, please take a moment to read this message.
Mihon v0.19.0 is out! Batch manga migration, user notes, markdown support for descriptions, faster browsing, new Nord & Catppuccin themes, improved reader error handling, and better tracker login. Plus many fixes and UI improvements.
Since some people are asking: the Mihon team (and all the forks) has nothing to do with this 'community,' and none of us endorse them
Joining them does not benefit the people actually working on the apps
P.S. We're looking for a UI designer to help out with a secret project
From 2020 to last night your names were in no order in particular "Tachiyomi", "Tachiyomi Plus", "Tachiyomi Community", "iiTachiyomi".
You also broke all the agreements between you and the former Tachiyomi team.
Just like you broke all agreements that we had.
Yes years ago our name had “Tachiyomi” in the title.
The Tachi team contacted us directly and asked us not to share certain things, a deal between us.
We agreed, even offered to delete the accouns, but they told us it’s fine to keep it as long as we clarify we’re not official ✅
Turns out my friends were reading on websites instead of using awesome apps like Mihon, so I showed them the way.
Make sure you do the same because that's what friends are for.
Mihon v0.16.0 and Mihon Preview r6442 has been released
What's New?
Well, nothing, except you now you need Android 8+ to install the app. Beware of any new fake versions of Mihon.
Stable: github.com/mihonapp/mihon…
Preview: github.com/mihonapp/mihon…
We've been made aware that @iitachiyomi has been selling merch and 'membership passes' to their community using the Mihon name.
They decided not to notify or ask us for permission. Please do not spend any money on this as none of it goes to supporting the Mihon project.
For people asking for a iOS version of the app it is not currently on the roadmap. iOS development requires macOS (i.e. a Mac) and the lead developer doesn't own one. iOS support will get on the roadmap when the lead developer owns a Mac.
