Very sad day for crypto and privacy. Alex Pertsev (Tornado Cash dev) has been sentenced to 5+ years for "money laundering" - he only built OSS to ensure financial privacy. Europe is no longer the bastion of privacy, but the bastion of anti-progress and regulation. Infuriating.
