    Last night, just near sunset, after going to some events for First Friday in Woodland, CA with my daughter, we drove by the Woodland Water Treatment Plant. With the sun going down the lighting on the white faced ibises there was was astonishing. Here is my favorite pic from last

    Dear @UofCalifornia @ucdavis This is NOT OK. I just got a notice by letter in mail that my insurance will no longer cover the insulin I have been getting "as of January 1, 2022". Letter was dated in February and was received after March 1, 2022. This is NOT OK.

    I mean, I love evolution and all, but it is a true sign that the @nobelprize system is messed up that sequencing the Neanderthal genome has won a Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine but sequencing the human genome has not.
